Axon Moore are partnering with a growing PE backed business in Preston to recruit a Senior Management Accountant/ Finance Manager. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is looking to take a step up in their career, with exposure to the senior management team in assisting with the strategic planning and decision making of the business going forwards.
Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities include:
- Management of the month end process
- Overview/ reviewing the monthly management accounts for all individual departments
- Management of three management accountants
- Create consolidated financial statements for review by senior management
- Build financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making, including partnering with department heads
- Cash flow management including recommendations
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly analysis of performance across the various departments
- Assisting in streamlining and improving all accounting systems and processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Budgeting and forecasting process
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Assisting in implementation of any finance systems as required
- Ad hoc project work, supporting future growth
