Statutory Accounts Consultant | Central Manchester / hybrid | PE backed | Outside IR35
We have an excellent opportunity for a technical accountant to manage the year end Statutory Accounts process for a high growth, highly acquisitive, PE backed services business based in Manchester. The role will initially be for circa 2 months
Role:
Overseeing the annual production of year end statutory accounts for a number of subsidiaries. Consolidating group accounts. Dealing with the audit internally and externally.

Role:
Overseeing the annual production of year end statutory accounts for a number of subsidiaries. Consolidating group accounts. Dealing with the audit internally and externally.
- Production of accurate group consolidated monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statement) in line with deadlines.
- Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for all companies.
- Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102 and one of the main points of contact for external auditors.
- Work with our external corporation tax advisors and provide information for the preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Improve current group reporting, ensuring there is a defined process when new acquisitions are brought into the group and all relevant data is held centrally.
- Preparation of financial reports on a timely basis, providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances when required.
- Technical / statutory / audit background
- Ideally ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Excellent excel skills
- Able to interview / start at short notice
