This is a a rare and exciting opportunity to join a North Leeds based, fast growing Technology business with projected revenue in 2023 of c£40m!
Currently in a significant period of expansion and development, the business have offices in both the UK and America, with their impressive headquarter being based in North Leeds - easily accessible from Harrogate, Yeadon, Ilkley, Otley, Horsforth and North Bradford.
They are now looking to hire a Supplier Relationship Manager into a newly created, standalone role, reporting directly to the FD in Leeds. The role will work closely with he Finance Business Partners, as well as with the Group Procurement functions based in US.
It will offer ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to really make the role your own. To succeed in this you will be proactive, driven, determined, with excellent stakeholder management skills, in order to work collaboratively both internally and externally, yet also have the ability to appropriately challenge.

The key duties of the role will include:
- Act as Procurement Business Partner representing all of Procurement’s services.
- Understand the business' strategic direction, priorities and procurement needs and working with Group Procurement to ensure successful outcomes
- Creating and developing a strategic plan for Procurement
- The development and execution of supplier strategies (short, medium and long-term), aligned with business and functional objectives and targets.
- Supplier negotiation encompassing tender management, contracting, pricing, terms and delivery of a quality of service and supply within compliance and risk appetite.
- Lead responsibility for generating purchase documentation for all Purchases, coordinating with existing resource for coverage
- Generating and issuing tenders
- Negotiating agreements and awarding contracts
- Onboarding suppliers
- Work collaboratively and as one team with Supplier Relationship & Risk Management as part of the Supplier cycle
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships across the organisation, to ensure effective relationships to allow the role holder to effective.
- Analysing data and/or providing insights to determine industry and trends regarding the products and services.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar or relevant role - Essential
- Have a deep and wide understanding of procurement processes and systems - Essential
- Have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable using fact-based analysis to support business decision making - Essential
- Have the ability to engage with strategic issues and work alongside stakeholders to develop pragmatic plans of action which are aligned with business needs - Essential
