System Accountant

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a growing business as they look to add a system accountant for an initial 12 month contract as the business goes live with a new reporting tool in the finance function. This role will be a pivotal position across the business bridging the gap between Finance and IT

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Group budget process incl. consolidation & analysis.
• Create, and maintain financial models, long term forecasts and scenario planning to support strategic decision
• Drive the forecasting processes, including with Treasury & Fixed Asset Teams on Cash Flow and working capital and Capex Planning that are accurate and efficient to produce and track against. Forecast accuracy to be measured as KPI
• Work with Commercial Finance Teams to get process consistency and standardisation across teams and share best practice

The successful candidate with have a proven background in Financial Analysis, Financial planning and analysis and good understanding of TM1. Strong communication skills across a variety of stakeholders is also a key for this role.
