Treasury Accountant
Manchester City Centre (Hybrid Working)
£33,000 - £35,000 (Plus ACCA/CIMA Study Support)

Axon Moore have a fantastic opportunity available for a Treasury Accountant.

The successful Treasury Accountant will be working in a centralised group finance function, the focus of the role will be across several global entities within the group, supporting regional finance were required and will give you the opportunity to work alongside our clients who are global / Blue Chip organisations based across several continents.

This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside Regional Directors, Senior Members of the Sales Division in addition to Department Heads throughout the operations and support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the 12 week cashflow forecasting file and contribute to weekly reporting
• Prepare and distribute liquidity management reporting dashboards.
• Review forecast vs actuals and collate predicted payments for cash flow forecasting
• Transferring funds between international accounts for their most efficient use.
• Monitoring FX rates to identify when to exchange currencies.
• Overseeing the day to day use of the Group’s invoice discounting facilities.
• Monitoring intercompany loan accounts when making decisions on intercompany transfers.
• Maintaining a daily buffer in all accounts.
• Monitoring “big ticket” cash items due to leave during the year.
• Liaising with internal teams to track payments and ensure they are paid on the correct day.
• Performing daily bank reconciliations and dealing with multi-currency payments
• Support management accountants with month end close processes
• To report to management on issues and inform of potential liquidity problems
• Proactively seek to improve treasury systems, processes and reporting
