Location: Salford + hybrid working
Salary and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities
- Proactive collection of outstanding balances across customer ledgers
- Monthly forecasting of expected cash receipts
- Reconciliation of customer accounts and handling account discrepancies
- Resolving invoice queries with both internal teams and customers
- Negotiating short-term payment plans where appropriate
- Preparing reports on customer payment trends and aged debt analysis
- Collaborating with internal teams to assess missing revenue reports
- Managing multiple finance-related shared mailboxes
- Reviewing intercompany balances and recommending settlements
- Supporting legal recovery processes for delinquent accounts
- Assisting with audits and finance projects as required
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Customer-focused with the ability to handle and escalate queries effectively
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of VAT is a plus, but not essential – training available
