Accounts Assistant

Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Bury. My client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

The role will incorporate a range of accounting duties and reporting into the Financial Controller. You will work alongside the wider accounts team to ensure timely completion of daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks.

Duties

• Assisting with purchase ledger
• Processing expenses
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with Credit Control
• Sales invoicing
• Data Entry and updating files
• Assistance at month end
• Other ad-hoc accounts admin duties

Person requirement

• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant position
• Fully competent with MS Word, Excel and accounting systems – Sage would be beneficial
• Driven and keen to get involved with everything and support the Financial Controller
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a focused manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience working to deadlines
