Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an international, well-established manufacturing business in Chorley. This client has a brilliant reputation on the market and they are looking to recruit an Accountant from a manufacturing background to join them due to growth of the business.

Reporting to the European Head of Accounting, this role will involve the production of management/financial statements as well as the financial reporting for a number of legal entities. You will also be required to analyse all financial data and upcoming projects to support decision-making efforts and drive efficiencies for the business.

Duties:

• Completion of Management/Financial Accounting for all assigned legal entities to group.
• Prepare or oversee all balance sheets
• Report on gross margins and periodic variances.
• Produce budget/forecasts and analysis around materials and inventory.
• Analyse and review monthly spending trends with Operations management team.
• Deliver a comprehensive and professional service to all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant/Finalist/QBE
• Experience in working within a Manufacturing business is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to be able to effectively partner with other areas of the business
• Excellent analytical skills
• Hardworking attitude and proactive approach to improve processes
• Advanced Excel skills
