Job description

An inspiring opportunity has become available in a rapidly expanding and energetic company with offices based in Barnsley.

This well-established business has seen recent trends of large success, and is looking to continue this pattern moving into years to come, and is looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated individual to add to this.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Performing daily bank recollections 
  • Creating and maintaining reports in Microsoft Excel
  • Analysing data using Microsoft Excel
  • Assisting with month-end tasks such as creating and sending customer reports, prepayments and fixed assets
  • Credit card statement reconciliations 
  • Posting and allocating receipts to customer accounts 
  • Creating and amending existing customer accounts
  • Managing a list of debtors including contacting customers in line with payment terms to ensure payments are received on time
  • Generating and sending sales invoices
  • Sending copy invoices and statements to customers
  • Raising customer credit notes
  • Respond to customer queries and maintain customer relationships
  • Assisting with processing expenses
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Previous accounts experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of skill using Microsoft Office packages (desirable)
  • Strong team player
  • Experience using Sage50 (desirable but not essential)
