Reporting to their impressive high calibre Finance Director, your duties will include:
- Maintaining the Company’s purchasing and stock management systems, identifying stock discrepancies and maintaining accurate records
- Coding and processing purchase invoices in SAGE, ensuring compliance with the Company’s purchasing guidelines
- Liaising with sales, administrative & operational employees to query and resolve discrepancies
- Performing month end supplier statement reconciliations
- Maintaining the aged debtors & aged creditors ledger
- Preparation of the weekly payroll
- Posting of bank receipts & payments and reconciliation of the Company’s bank accounts
- Generating weekly payment runs for payments to both suppliers and employees
- Processing of employee expense claims in line with the Company’s expense policy
- Assisting the Finance Director with month-end and other ad-hoc duties
- Have already achieved or be working towards an accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)
- Previous experience of SAGE is preferable
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Works well under own initiative and as part of team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels across the Company
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
