Accounts Assistant l South Manchester l £25,000 - £30,000 l  Hybrid - STUDY SUPPORT

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are partnering with an exciting client exclusively who are the leading Healthcare provider in the Greater Manchester area. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who are working towards completing their AAT and wanting to progress within a friendly and thriving finance team!

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Location: South Manchester

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Daily banking reconciliations including updating excel cashbooks for multiple bank accounts, accurate coding and posting in Sage50
  • Posting and reconciling credit card transactions
  • Raising monthly sales invoices and credit notes via NHS and Local Authority portals
  • Managing petty cash reconcillations
  • Processing supplier invoices in a timely manner coded correctly and stored electronically
  • Creating monthly BACS runs for supplier payments
  • Posting and reconciling monthly income, ensuring new patient admissions and discharges are accounted for and updated
  • Review and reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger accounts using agreed creditor reports
  • Intercompany regarding and reconciliations, including posting journals
  • Creating monthly BACS runs for supplier payments
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and the car home to ensure requires are dealt with promptly and queries resolved
  • Liaising directly with Local Authorities, NHS, private clients and their relatives
  • Assisting the Management Accountant with any other ad-hoc tasks
Person Specification:
  • Sage50 experience
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • AAT qualified or studying towards
  • Previous experience within a similar role
