Job Overview:
Axon Moore are partnering with an exciting and growing, fast pace retail company business based in Wilmslow, who are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable into the team. The role will support the Accounts Payable Manager and will be a strong member of the finance team. You will assist with liaising with the other members of the team, checking invoices, processing multi-currency, month end, bank reconciliations and plenty more. The role would be ideal for someone looking to progress their career, work in a fast pace and with a great team.
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Liaising with Operations to ensure Stock in/out movement is correct before payments are authorised
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Ensure correct invoices are matched & queries raised with relevant departments
- Processing multi-currency payments, ensure correct tax treatment
- Carrying out analysis on AP and cash balances
- Preparing and completing journals and investigating debit balances
- Assist with month end closing
- Assist with Bank reconciliations
- Liaising with key stakeholders within the business
- Point of contact to external and internal business partners for any supplier queries
- Working with the AP Manager on projects to improve the AP processes.
