Axon Moore have partnered with an up-and-coming accounting firm, based in Bolton, as they seek to bolster their team with the addition of an experienced Admin Assistant of the back of a period of sustained growth for the business.

This is a fully office-based role so candidates must live within a commutable distance to Bolton. Moreover, as team-spirit and culture-fit is paramount to this business, candidates must be personable, confident and able to develop long-standing working relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Deliver outstanding client service face-to-face or via telephone and email
  • Creating and sending invoices
  • Requesting information from clients
  • Managing the monthly direct debit collections
  • Chase bounced direct debits and overdue fees
  • Answering switchboard and reception ensuring cover during open hours
  • Administer and record the office petty cash
  • Provide the Directors with weekly reports
  • Filing work completed and maintaining the office database
  • Provide sickness/holiday cover for other staff
  • Ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Able to demonstrate good attention to detail and highly organised
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong IT and MS Office skills
  • Experience using Iris Software (desired)
