Assistant Accountant | £28,000 - £32,000 + Study Support | Chorley | Acquisitive business | Broad exposure
Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, acquisitive business in Chorley to recruit an Assistant Accountant who is hard-working, driven and keen to succeed. This is a highly sought-after role which is well suited to either someone with an AAT background or an ambitious Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA seeking to grow and develop alongside a business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Calculate and post accruals and prepayments
- Fixed Asset depreciation
- Complex reconciliations
- Bad debt provision reporting
- Preparing regular reports as required by Group
- Ad-hoc duties
- AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Prior exposure to month-ends
