Assistant Finance Business Partner

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an excellent PE Backed SME near Golborne as they look to recruit an ambitious Assistant Finance Business Partner. 

This is an excellent pivotal position with the opportunity to drive change, create efficiencies and make the role their own. This individual will gain exceptional exposure within a high autonomy role, with exposure to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Business partnering with the finance, commercial teams and external stakeholders
• Preparation of management accounts and ability to analyse variances
• Preparation of weekly P&Ls
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and understanding of balances
• Assist with the preparation of the cashflow and working capital
• Overseeing the payroll process ready for sign off
• Implementing new accounting standards across the group where necessary
• Assist with the annual external audit process
• Ad hoc project work

This is a coveted position that will spring board the successful candidates career giving them excellent exposure to the senior finance team and highly sought after commercial experience. You will be reporting into a high-calibre Head of Finance, who will offer the development and progression to becoming a qualified accountant. Ideally candidates will have practical finance experience, and either studying ACCA or CIMA.

Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required once per month, to other offices/sites.
