Axon Moore are working closely with a key long-term client in their search for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team and fulfil their potential. Opportunities to join a high-growth, boutique Private Equity/Venture Capital firm like this don’t come around often. Therefore, the successful candidate – as well as being CIMA/ACCA part-qualified – must possess exceptional organisational and communicational skills besides being able to demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and a positive work-ethic.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts and assistance in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
  • Preparation of information for tax computations across all group entities, including maintenance of financial controls across the entities in line with Group finance policies
  • Prepare information for the annual statutory audit and quarterly funder audits
  • Support the wider Finance Operations team with Purchase ledger, Sales Ledger, Funding and Payroll.
  • To review processes for continual improvement to further develop the control environment.
  • Provide assistance to the Group team on project and ad hoc work for commercial analysis.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Be studying towards your CIMA, ACCA, ACA or AAT Qualification.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated and a strong ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • An ability to think methodically and logically with a strong desire to continue learning and developing.
  • Able to work efficiently towards meeting targets and deadlines.
