Assistant Management Accountant | £25,000 – £30,000 + Study Support | Leeds | PE backed multinational firm | Excellent culture and benefits

 
Axon Moore are working closely with a key long-term client in their search for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team and fulfil their potential. Opportunities to join a high-growth, multinational PLC. Therefore, the successful candidate – as well as being CIMA/ACCA part-qualified – must possess exceptional organisational and communication skills besides being able to demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and a positive work-ethic.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data including cost of sales reconciliations
  • Provide monthly variance analysis on various areas within the business
  • Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals & prepayment control accounts
  • Liaise with the other finance departments with regards to providing correct information at source
  • Respond to queries from senior managers within the business
  • Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are maintained
 

Key skills for the role:
  • Be studying towards your CIMA, ACCA, ACA or AAT Qualification.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated and a strong ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • An ability to think methodically and logically with a strong desire to continue learning and developing.
  • Able to work efficiently towards meeting targets and deadlines.
