Axon Moore are working closely with a key long-term client in their search for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team and fulfil their potential. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data including cost of sales reconciliations
- Provide monthly variance analysis on various areas within the business
- Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals & prepayment control accounts
- Liaise with the other finance departments with regards to providing correct information at source
- Respond to queries from senior managers within the business
- Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are maintained
Key skills for the role:
- Be studying towards your CIMA, ACCA, ACA or AAT Qualification.
- Experience within a similar role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Self-motivated and a strong ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- An ability to think methodically and logically with a strong desire to continue learning and developing.
- Able to work efficiently towards meeting targets and deadlines.
