The key person for this role will be someone with existing credit control experience who is looking to take the next step in their career towards a management role within the industry.
Whilst working a full scheduled and helpful team, the owner ship and responsibility of the ledger will be your own as well as the following duties:
Timely recovery of debt and collection of payments within agreed terms following effective liaising with customers
Resolution of invoice queries (both internal and external) on time; to avoid any possible delay of payment
Monitor credit limit review dates
Delivering specific “on the job” training to new team members
Liaise with all key stakeholders to support delivery of departmental and wider business objectives
Produce and circulate to the wider business, the weekly debt note and high risk report
Minimum 3 years` experience in a credit control/sales ledger role
Keen to develop ones own career and personal skill set
Able to work towards deadlines
Top rate communication skills
Good people management skills
£25,000 - £26,000 p.a. (dependent on experience)
