A fantastic opportunity for an Audit & Compliance Manager to join a highly respected and successful international business based in Warrington.
Due to continued growth and future plans an Audit & Compliance Manager is required to join a high calibre and dynamic finance team.
The role:
A high-profile role managing all aspects of compliance from growing and developing the existing control framework. Responsible for a variety of tasks relating to compliance, control, and audit, working with all areas of finance plus various teams across the wider business. The compliance function is still relatively new although it has come a long way in the last 12 months; there is significant scope for further development and for the Audit and Compliance Manager to make it their own.
Skills & Experience:
• Qualified ACA/ACCA
• Specific experience of/interest in financial controls and/or compliance
• Solid understanding of both management and financial accounting
• Experience/understanding of ESG reporting
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders including non-financial management, Group and external advisors
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems
• Adaptable and approachable
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
