Bookkeeper | £24,000 - £30,000 + Study | Bolton | Fantastic team and culture | Rapidly-growing firm
Axon Moore have partnered with an up-and-coming accounting firm, based in Bolton, as they seek to bolster their team with the addition of an experienced Bookkeeper of the back of a period of sustained growth for the business.
This is a fully office-based role so candidates must live within a commutable distance to Bolton. Moreover, as team-spirit and culture-fit is paramount to this business, candidates must be personable, confident and able to develop long-standing working relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Prepare and file VAT returns
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and legislation
- Maintain confidential financial information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ad-hoc duties
- 3 years’ experience in a Bookkeeping role (desired)
- AAT Qualified (desired)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting regulations and legislation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced IT and MS Excel skills
- Good knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QB, Sage etc.)
