Business Development Manager: Chorley: Permanent: £55k plus bonus and exceptional benefits

As a key player in the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling of key clients on a daily basis as well as looking at new avenues to generate business and forge long standing relationships to push the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and nurture a high-performing team in collaboration with the Warehouse Operations Manager
· Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, suppliers, carriers and transport providers to foster and maintain lasting relationships
· Generate new business opportunities in a strategic manner to drive the growth of the business
· Create and develop sales plans and forecast targets and growth projections along side the MD
· Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking and any other channels
Requirements:
· Exceptional customer service and organisational skills
· Keen attention to detail and proficiency in IT
· Familiarity with API, SaaS, and ERP platforms is advantageous

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £55K Plus bonus, profit share and company car allowance
Company pension plan
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am- 5:30pm
Additional Incentives: Loyalty bonus
