Axon Moore is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for a highly reputable, rapidly growing online retail business based in Manchester. The company produces and sells high-end, quality products and is a well-known and respected brand across its industry with an international customer base.
As part of recent changes in their strategy and approach to market, the company is looking to appoint a new CFO to drive growth and steer the direction of the business. Acting as a true right hand to the CEO and working with a high-calibre, experienced senior leadership team, this will be a highly commercial role responsible for strategic decision making and driving value.
You will be pivotal in bringing finance to the front and centre of the business, overseeing all day-to-day finance activity with a hands-on approach. A key part of this role will be improving the provision of MI and finding ways to better utilise this information to identify any gaps and opportunities that will enable further expansion.
This role will suit a creative and commercial finance leader who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. A background in e-commerce/retail is desirable and experience in a manufacturing environment would also be beneficial. This individual will be a natural leader and mentor with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and work with senior stakeholders.
Equity and a profit share will be available from day one for the successful candidate. The business is currently privately owned but looking to grow and explore options for an exit in the next 2-3 years, creating the opportunity for wealth creation.
