Commercial Accountant | Manchester (Hybrid) | £45,000 - £50,000 | PE backed
Axon Moore are exclusively working with a high growth SAAS business in central Manchester that are seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created role due to recent PE investment, to join a business that have trajectory to double growth year-on-year.
Due to increasing growth of the business and demand for information, reporting and analysis, the Finance Team are looking to recruit an additional team member to deliver high quality, timely and accurate reporting to a varied audience across the business.
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for:

Due to increasing growth of the business and demand for information, reporting and analysis, the Finance Team are looking to recruit an additional team member to deliver high quality, timely and accurate reporting to a varied audience across the business.
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly and ad hoc data preparation reporting across the business including but not limited to revenue, costs, performance, and trend analysis
- Assist in the forecasting of the business utilising robust and detailed financial models using spreadsheets e.g., excel/google sheets
- Produce and maintain monthly management accounts including full financial statements, supporting schedules, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Manage the month end submissions of accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and any other for quick month end close
- Adherence and promotion of financial controls and compliance
- Liaising with all disciplines across the business and supporting the reporting needs of each to ensure informed decision making and management
- Utilising the work in the above areas to support the businesses aim of increasing automation and improving systems to support the significant growth plans
- Supporting the statutory reporting and submissions as required by each jurisdiction
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Excellent spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets etc)
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- An ability thrive in highly demanding / rewarding growth company
