A great opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join an impressive international business based in Warrington.
Due to continued growth and success a Commercial Analyst is required to join a well-established and highly respected finance team.
Job Purpose:
To analyse sales, both actuals and forecast, providing an analytical look at historic and future stock holding for the business.
Forward looking inventory analysis with the production of KPIs that will highlight risks and opportunities to both customer service and working capital.
Liaising with procurement, supply chain, sales and finance to be the main point of contact for management in inventory forecasting and sales analysis, providing management with the information needed to drive the working capital and stock holding objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting and analysis using Excel and GP (ERP System)
• Produce weekly and monthly inventory KPIs (DIO, Inventory Turns)
• Produce weekly stock reports and analysis
• Produce inventory forecasts with input from Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain
• Provide input to cash flow forecasts through sales and stock forecasting
• Provide analysis compared to budget and stock holding
Skills & Experience:
• Worked in a similar position
• Advanced Excel
• Attention to detail
• Commercially focussed
• Prepared to support and develop ‘best in class’
• Positive attitude, deals with challenge & change
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
