Commercial Finance Analyst

Axon Moore are partnering with a growing PE Backed e-commerce business in the Blackburn area to recruit a newly created Commercial Finance Analyst position. You will join a successful and supportive commercial team, and be a pivotal part of the future growth of the business.

This is a newly created role that will hold a high degree of autonomy to manage the commercial and operational performance of across several divisions.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

• Provision of coherent, concise reporting of trading performance vs financial and non-financial KPIs across various channels, with key drivers understood.
• Supporting the business to critically analyse performance of the operations whilst providing an appropriate level of challenge.
• Building strong working relationships with operational leaders and using commercial skills to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Integrate into the operational teams to influence behaviours in the functional areas to drive improvements whilst reducing business risk.
• Working with business areas to critically evaluate our ability to meet targets in the short-medium term, identifying areas of risk and/or opportunity.
• Trend analysis, financial risk/benefit modelling, sensitivity analysis and contributing to business cases for initiatives proposed.
• Supporting the Financial Reporting and Planning team with the budget and forecasting processes.
• Designing, building and owning a suite of dashboards and reporting tools within Tableau.

This role will suit a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified candidate who can manipulate and analyse large data sets whilst influencing stakeholders at all levels.
