Commercial Finance Analyst | East Manchester | £45,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus | PE backed
A highly acquisitive, PE backed business in East Manchester are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This role is considered to be a stepping stone to becoming Commercial Finance Director within a 3-4 year time frame upon achieving certain targets and objectives.

This role is considered to be a stepping stone to becoming Commercial Finance Director within a 3-4 year time frame upon achieving certain targets and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop strong working relationships with the Executive and Commercial teams and become a trusted advisor
- Produce budget & reforecast presentation pack using specified template including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and other supporting information and insights.
- Provide guidance to the Executive and Commercial teams and have the confidence to provide constructive challenge around assumptions and forecasts
- Produce weekly cashflow forecasts and submit to Group by agreed timetables.
- Ensure the management accounts for each business reflect accurately the current trading position; this is achieved by working closely with Group Finance at month end.
- Continuously improve the way data is processed and information presented using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
- Produce budgets and forecasts in-line with Group timetables.
- Ensure Commercial Finance Director is made aware immediately of any material or significant issues.
- Ensure all month end and reporting deadlines are met without compromise.
- Contribute and help to manage project initiatives directed by the Commercial Finance Director.
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally with customers
