Axon Moore are partnering with a successful and growing PE backed SME to recruit an ambitious Commercial Manager. This is an excellent varied opportunity to step into a high level role within an established business, and head up your own business unit, with the opportunity to drive change. This individual will gain exceptional exposure and shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Head of Commercial.
Ideally candidates will have a prior finance background (preferably CIMA qualified), but our client is also open to individuals with a relevant QS background.

- Producing models to estimate the costs of delivering services/ contracts
- Supporting the Head of Commercial in delivering presentations to the board in securing tenders
- Taking ownership of developing, implementing, and managing adherence to pricing policies
- Established monthly billing targets and track performance accordingly
- Business partnering across all departments including operations, project managers, and Managing Directors to ensure margin is maximised
- Forecasts for future revenue, costs and cashflows
- To pro-actively identify leads and opportunities for growth within your business unit
- To support the business unit in the generation of tenders for all opportunities
- Provision of advice on commercial issues to the Operational and Managing Director
- Management of WIP risk, via accurate billing, and support with payment collection, and reports
- Use the Management Information System to track works progress and report on any contract KPI’s.
