Credit Controller | £26,000  to £28,000 Bradford


Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a rapidly-growing tech business as they look to recruit for a proactive and enthusiastic Credit Controller to join their finance team.

This role is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to be able to shape and improve the credit control function. You will be able to add value by improving and streamlining current processes. This is a role which you can truly make your own.

There will also be an opportunity for you to develop and progress to a Management level within the role.


THE JOB:


Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will have full ownership your own ledger and you would be responsible for the following key duties:
  • Effective liaising with customers for collection of payments within agreed terms and timely recovery of debt
  • Working across multiple ledgers
  • Resolving invoice queries both internally & externally in a timely manner; to ensure payment is not delayed
  • Agreeing & setting account credit terms and make recommendations following review
  • Payment allocations & account reconciliations
  • Assist with the production of monthly credit control to management
  • Negotiating and documenting agreed repayment plans when requested by a customer
  • Management of key accounts
  • Building strong relationships with the sales and operations Teams
  • Weekly and monthly Reporting
THE PERSON:
  • Have previous experience of debt management within a busy credit function
  • Strong communication skills, you will need to be able to develop relationships, proactively chase debt and resolve queries.
  • Motivated and committed
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Be able to demonstrate successfully managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Have strong time management skills and will have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be able to implement strategic initiatives across credit and collections
