Axon Moore are excited to be partnering with a globally recognised retailer as they look to recruit a Credit Controller to their Leeds office.

It is essential to have had experience within this field working closely alongside the Credit Control Manager focusing on recovering any unpaid money. The successful candidate will display the following skills and attributes:

- Resolve customer queries
- Release orders
- Manage both incoming telephone calls to both Internal and External customers, taking and chasing payments
- Make accurate and concise notes on client records
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Ensure SAP and Sales force are updated in a timely manner
- Application of payment/credits by using one of the methods BACS; Credit Cards; Cheques
- Consolidation and allocation of accounts
- Completion and provision of reports to Sales Team as required
- Daily reporting via telephone to the Sales Team on problem accounts/collection of monies
It is essential to have had experience within this field working closely alongside the Credit Control Manager focusing on recovering any unpaid money. The successful candidate will display the following skills and attributes:
- Previous track record of working to deadlines
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of working to targets
- Ability to use MS Office in particular MS Excel
- To be able to communicate both written and verbally across different levels
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Experience of being able to prioritise
- Ability to carry out negotiation discussions
- Salary - Up to £25,000
