Job Overview:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis on various aspects of the business, including product costs, operational expenses, and overheads.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements through financial modelling and analysis
- Identifying business performance against targets and forecasts
- Analysing results and identifying trends, making recommendations to the business to improve financial performance
- Preparing periodic reports on financial revenue and expenditure and communicating insights to key stakeholders
- Supporting the automation of accounting programs and reporting to increase productivity
- Work closely with operations teams to understand and analyse key operational metrics and KPIs.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets for different departments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Prepare regular financial reports, variance analysis, and performance metrics for management review.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA), we would part-qualified/finalists.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working within commercial finance.
- High level of organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where systems are processes are continuing to be implemented.
