Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic, growing business based in York, as they look to recruit a Graduate Finance Assistant into their finance function.
After several successful acquisitions, the growth trajectory of the business is superb and the team are keen for a confident, self-starter to join and share in the next part of their success story.
The role is being offered initially as a 12 month FTC, but with potential for the opportunity to become permanent. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team and this is a great opportunity for someone of graduate calibre to start their finance career.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:

Your main responsibilities will include the following:
- Daily reconciliations of the company's bank accounts
- Raise ad hoc cheque payments
- Daily input of the company's CHAPS payments and transfers
- Set up accounts for any additional payroll payments
- Authorise BACS payments
- Daily download all of the company's bank statements
- Monthly reconcile the bank accounts to ensure the cash book matches the trial balance
- Daily review of the cash management mailbox
- Additional Ad hoc jobs
- Have knowledge of MS Office including Excel, word and outlook are essential.
- Have experience in a similar role or educated to degree level
- Have the ability to work well in part of a large team.
