Finance Business Partner

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a leading business in Lancashire as they look to recruit an experienced interim Finance business partner to join the team for a initial 6 month contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be qualified accountant with strong background in business partnering.


Description

• Collate quarterly forecast and budget entries for the team, and communicate comparisons to actual performance.
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Effective partnering with the Development business team, and liaise with the team to enhance their performance and the risks and opportunities in achieving it.
• Provide analysis that informs decision-making, and provides insight into the drivers of business performance.
• Ensure consistency of data across the various business systems. Monitor and control key date for projects.
• Ensure business stakeholders understand their own numbers.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects.
• Identify and implement process improvement.

 


Skills

• Strong academics, and an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• A self-starter with a proactive, common-sense approach.
• Highly diligent with strong attention to detail, but able to step back and see the bigger picture.
• Skillful manager of stakeholder relationships, able to build and maintain strong networks, whilst willing to apply challenges where appropriate.
