Finance Business Partner l Manchester | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | Logistics | Hybrid Working

Job Overview:
Axon Moore are exclusively working on behalf of a high growth, logistics firm going through a period of change and they are looking to bring a Finance Business Partner into a newly created role.

This Private Equity backed business has exciting opportunities for anyone joining, with interesting projects to be delivered as the organisation prepares for a likely PE transaction within a few years. As a result, this role will provide substantial opportunities to build your CV as you are directly involved in several value-add projects and initiatives.

This role would ideally suit candidates with a background in Management Accounts, coupled with Business Partnering responsibilities to support the ongoing relationship between Finance and wider operations.

Salary: £45,000-£55,000
Benefits: 10% bonus
Location: Manchester, 1-2 days a week.

Main Duties:
• Ensure clear processes across your business area and throughout the finance department.
• Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies.
• Providing effective commercial procedures to ensure key operational and financial targets.
• Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.
• Financial analysis to assist business profitability and growth.
• Provide accurate management reporting to assist with decision making.
• Produce period end and year end journals.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process.
• Manage capital expenditure.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Clear understanding of revenue streams to ensure all relevant costs are recoverable.
• Provide staffing cost advice and support to internal and external decision makers.
• Review processes to improve effectiveness and ensure continued development.
• Preparation of reports & KPI data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Creation and maintenance of Business Intelligence reports.
• Assist in project work as appropriate.
• Provide support with business cases as required.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as requested by Senior Management.

Person Specification:
• CIMA/ ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant.
• Excellent communicator, with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
• Advanced Excel skill set.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
