Finance Business Partner | Bury, North Manchester | £50,000 - £55,000 | PE backed SME
Axon Moore are working a high growth PE backed SME in Bury who are looking to add an ambitious Finance Business Partner to their team. This exciting, fast paced business received PE investment in 2021 and have encountered significant growth, both organically and through acquisition.
This is a highly commercial role with no involvement in the production of management accounts, where you'll act as a key business partner to stakeholders such as the PE house, C-suite leadership teams, operational managers etc.

This is a highly commercial role with no involvement in the production of management accounts, where you'll act as a key business partner to stakeholders such as the PE house, C-suite leadership teams, operational managers etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide detailed performance reporting for board packs.
- Business partner with senior c-suite stakeholders and other Operational Managers, providing insightful business analysis.
- Review and analyse divisional costs to support accuracy of accounts. This includes providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances
- Work with business leads to produce meaningful budgets and reforecasts.
- Ensure weekly utilisation and WIP reports are delivered and provide direction/support on ways forward
- Ensure sales are correctly recorded and carry forward positions monitored and challenged.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and updated in an accurate and timely manner.
- Continuously look at ways to improve working files/processes/systems with the aim of increasing accuracy and reducing revenue write-offs
- Work closely with the customer services team to develop their commercial awareness
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) however QBE/part qual will be considered
- Hands on approach and a good communicator
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads
