Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an entrepreneurial manufacturing business in Blackburn as they continue to expand their operations. This business has seen significant growth in recent years and have attracted a best in class finance team under an established CFO.
This is a newly created role that will suit a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA qualified candidate who is looking to make their first step into industry.
It will hold a high degree of autonomy with the main objective to help the business improve performance, through an effective combination of business partnering and analytical skills. You will be mentored and developed on a day to day basis from an high-calibre ACA qualified Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting in all aspects of financial decision making by becoming involved in commercial planning and performance analysis to ensure the delivery of financial targets
- Business partnering across multiple divisions including Sales and Operations teams to review, understand and develop financial proposals which reflect customer requirements, whilst identifying the most competitive pricing
- Develop pricing models
- Analyse production costs, administration expenses and other overhead costs to provide data backed solutions
- Develop and analyse sales and marketing reports and suggest strategies for improving business performance
- Provide sound financial appraisals of projects or investments, communicating financial benefits or outcomes in a clear and concise manner
- Assist in the budgeting process
- Provide the necessary challenge to ensure the robustness of any reports created
