Finance Business Partner | Central MCR (2 days in office) | £70,000 - £80,000 + 20% bonus + excellent benefits package!
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a market leading business in central Manchester who are seeking a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team. The business have been on an incredible journey, from receiving PE investment to making numerous acquisitions, before recently floating to become a listed PLC.
This role is replacing a long standing member in the team, reporting into the Senior Financial Controller. Partnering with Commercial & Operational teams whilst managing 1-2 direct reports, you will be responsible for:

This role is replacing a long standing member in the team, reporting into the Senior Financial Controller. Partnering with Commercial & Operational teams whilst managing 1-2 direct reports, you will be responsible for:
- Providing business partnering to the Commercial and Operations teams to ensure all contractual obligations and financial benefits are realised, with specific responsibility for key customers (including UK and International)
- Review and challenge operational and commercial planning, identifying risks and opportunities vs budget
- Support the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasting process, working closely with the Commercial and Operations teams and other budget holders
- Coach and guide 1-2 direct reports to ensure they are appropriately motivated and developed to carry out their responsibilities
- Provide value added, insightful reporting across the business and make recommendations to improve efficiencies and control spend
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reporting to the Group, including insightful analysis of performance against financial targets
- Fully qualified with 5 years PQE (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Proven finance business partnering experience, ideally 3 years experience in a similar role
- Prior experience managing/mentoring a team
- Experience of producing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
