Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an outstanding candidate to join the ambitious, emerging senior leadership team as Finance Director. 

This role would be particularly well suited to a candidate looking for their breakthrough no. 1 finance role in a business which offers significant exposure to an exceptional board of C-suite directors, guide strategic decision making and ensure finance is well embedded within every aspect of the organisation.  

Our client needs an ambitious, motivated, Finance leader who recognises the company’s growth journey and wants to make a genuine impact, propelling the business to further success.  You will be a crucial part of the business’ development and will in return have access to an outstanding wealth creation opportunity within a relatively short period.

Key Requirements:
  • Hold a formal accounting qualification either ACA,  ACCA, CIMA
  • Have familiarity with working in an environment requiring liaison with international colleagues
  • Be aware of Transfer Pricing principles
  • Hold superb excel modelling skills
  • Be detail oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Have a very strong bias towards customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be very confident, outgoing, highly self-motivated and comfortable with challenging others and being challenged
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly profit, cashflow and balance sheet forecasting
  • Operating credibly at board level and contributing to strategy (particularly pricing)
  • Business partnering with operations in their interactions with existing customers and managing debtor days within 30 days with the Chief People Officer to develop an organisation teeming with ambition
  • Drive preparation of statutory year end accounts without error within three months of company year ends  
  • Preparing reports for the business’ Private Equity investor
  • Support for the sales director and interaction with potential customers in the sales process as appropriate 
  • Controlling the finances of subsidiary companies  
  • Assisting the CEO in the delivery of the 5-year plan
