Axon Moore are partnering with a high growth, entrepreneurial, sub £10m revenue SME in the Leeds area to appoint a Finance Director.
The business has seen revenues rise rapidly since it was established and has strong growth projections over the next 3-5 years.
An FD is required to support the CEO to enable expansion, drive change and ensure the financial structure of the business provides a sound platform for future growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide broader financial and general leadership in the business, supporting the board and CEO
- Partner with Divisional Managers and Directors to challenge assumptions and provide quality management reports
- Lead the audit process at year end
- Negotiate financing arrangements with the bank and financial stakeholders
- Ensure quality metrics and insight runs throughout the business to drive accuracy, and enable effective and agile decision making
The ideal candidate for this role must possess the following background and experience
- Qualified finance leader
- Must have experience within an owner managed/privately owned business of a similar scale (e.g. £5-£30m turnover, ideally during a period of growth)
- Strong systems and analytical skills, with attention to detail and able to carry out high level analysis
