Accounts Assistant – Job specification
Axon Moore is excited to be working with a fantastic client as they add a finance graduate into their finance graduate scheme programme. The candidate will be provided with study support to pursue ACA, CIMA or ACCA whilst working for a large international business that is rapidly expanding. The candidate will learn all the basics of a working in a highly efficient finance team and will go on to qualify as an accountant and take over the running of several subsidiaries over the course of their career.
Candidates should have the following:
• Finance degree, equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a finance role.
• A great work ethic.
• Able to work well in a team and correspond with many other departments in the business.
• Driven and able to self-motivate to work through a challenging professional qualification.
The role will entail:
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• posting sales invoices
• posting purchase invoices
• credit control
• Learning all parts of the P&L and B/S
• Learning how to post and reconcile bank accounts
• Learning how to trade with international subsidiaries across the group
