Duties
- Lead a small finance team of both part qualified and qualified finance professionals.
- Exposure and ownership in reporting on a recent acquisition.
- Executing month-end closing routines and provision of first level management reporting and analysis to business units.
- Leading and managing the year end audit, collaborating with the external partner, ensuring both internal and external timelines are met and providing regular updates to all stakeholders.
- Preparing the year end consolidation file to allow timely preparation of our Statutory accounts.
- Ensuring external regulatory deadlines are met on time and in full.
- Ensuring a clean Trial Balance across all business units and all processes feeding into the process.
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards, compliance requirements.
- Work with other teams in finance and the business to resolve issues.
- Ensure deadlines are achieved and disputes are resolved quickly.
- Lead, motivate, develop, and manage the Management Accounts team.
- Ensuring the Management Accounts team is sustainable and fit for purpose.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives with the team.
- Improving end to end accounting processes in collaboration with finance colleagues.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified with a background in Reporting and Management Accounts.
- Strong communication skillset with a positive attitude.
- Ability to working in a fast paced, PE environment.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, both in and out of finance.
- Resilient to change.
- Advanced Excel skillset.
