Finance Manager

Finance Manager | Rochdale | £45,000 - £55,000 | Market leading manufacturing business

Axon Moore are seeking a Finance Manager to join an international manufacturing company based in Rochdale on a full time permanent basis. Reporting into the CFO, this is an excellent opportunity to work for a business that dominate 75% of their market, where you will manage 1 direct report working closely with the wider Operational teams and senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leadership of the finance function for this particular site in Rochdale to support all stakeholders and meet their needs
• Produce the monthly management accounts including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Responsible for all financial operations including reporting, invoicing, cash management, stock control, sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger and fixed assets.
• Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts 
• Manage capital expenditure
• Implement improvements and automate internal processes to drive efficiency and ensure accuracy of information
• Take control of stock management, recording and reporting

Person specification:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified however part qualified/QBE would also be considered if you can demonstrate relevant experience / knowledge of a similar industry
• Product costing & stock management experience would be desirable, not essential 
• Strong analytical mind, excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritise and work to
