Axon Moore is partnering with a highly reputable Retail business in the East Lancashire area who are searching for a strong Finance Manager to join their high performing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious candidate to develop under the guidance from a notable CFO and Group FD.  This is a highly visible role and you will be key in supporting the successful delivery of the Financial Strategy.

The successful Finance Manager can expect to:

• Manage and report the month end management account process across the business with supporting commentary to provide the business with a good understanding of the group financial position
• Manage and mentor a small finance team.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the group.
• Ensure strong financial controls are in place
• Meet all audit deliverables within agreed timescales
• Support with the consolidated forecast and budget process.
• Partner with other senior non-finance leaders, supporting them with preparing and managing their budgets and forecasting processes

The successful applicant will be an ambitious individual looking for strong career progression. They’ll need to have the self-motivation and gravitas to lead in the above role headlines, and they’ll need to hold relevant qualifications (ACA / ACCA /CIMA) and experience to be considered.
