Finance Manager

Axon Moore are partnering with an instantly recognisable business in Preston who are looking for a high calibre qualified Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate will either be an ACA/ ACCA 2nd time mover from practice with a strong technical knowledge and keen to progress.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Preparation of the consolidated cashflow reporting and forecasting on a timely and accurate basis
• Support the preparation of all monthly reporting, analysis and commentary including Board Reports
• Manage controls and provide risk assessments on the Group’s cash processes
• Ensure all Group payments are made on a timely and accurate basis with appropriate approval structure in place
• Maximise the cash generation and identify increased profit opportunities from the purchase to pay, and order to cash processes
• To lead key Finance transition work streams including standardisation and simplification of Treasury processes
• Provide a control environment framework for all cashflow processes including responsibility for the production of all Group bank account reconciliations
• Management of a transactional team of 4
