Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be working alongside a well established property development business as they look for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join their Finance team, working closely with the Finance Director. The primary responsibility of the role will be to look after the day-to-day operation of the Finance Function including Purchase, Sales and General Ledgers. They’re looking for a receptive individual who is highly motivated and can work on their own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to take on a varied and interesting role, with lots of opportunity for growth, learning and progression.

Salary: up to £40k

Location: Hale, Altrincham

Main Duties:

• Responsible for all aspects of the Sales Ledger
• Raising Invoices
• Copy Invoices
• Dealing with queries
• Credit Control
• Handling all aspects of the Purchase Ledger
• Processing invoices
• Dealing with suppliers
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Weekly payment runs
• Handling the general ledger
• Closing the ledgers at month end in order to produce a trial balance
• Management accounts profit and loss
• Analysis of ways to improve profitability and growth
• Preparation of financial statements and accounts
• Cost analysis
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts

Person Specification:

• IT Literate
• Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 50 Accounts experience
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Self sufficient
• Highly Motivated
