Axon Moore are partnering alongside a high growth, large organisation based in South Manchester who are looking to bring a new Finance Manager into the team. This role will be responsible for the management accounts function, alongside wider transactional teams.
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified, and have a background in Management Accounts and staff management.
Salary: £50,000-£56,000

Location: South Manchester
Main Duties:
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of consolidated monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting packs are prepared accurately.
- Responsible for consolidated weekly financial reporting as requested by the parent company.
- Oversee the balance sheet reconciliations across all entities within the group.
- Calculate variances against the budget.
- Maintain control over accounting transactions to ensure accounts are prepared in accordance to UK GAAP.
- Support the wider finance function with the continual implementation of a new accounting software.
- Produce ad-hoc reports for the Finance Director, and wider senior management team.
- Line manage the Management Accounts team, Credit Control Manager and Accounts Payable Manager.
- Perform daily treasury duties and communicate regularly to the Finance Director.
- Manage the 13 weeks cash flow, and other cash flow reporting.
- Support the Finance Director in all elements of external comms: bank, auditors, and other advisors.
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified.
- Relevant experience of group reporting.
- Able to support the business function and senior management team.
- Excellent communicator, capable of disseminating financial information to both finance, and none finance individuals.
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
