Finance Manager | South Manchester | £40k-£46k | Christian Charity
Axon Moore are proudly working alongside a Christian Charity based in South Manchester who are looking to bring onboard a Finance Manager into a newly created role. This is a broad position, encompassing all aspects of finance, and reporting directly into the CFO.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the finance department, including management accountant and transactional functions.
- Provide insight to the finance team with queries around accounting, taxation and any other financial matter.
- Take responsibility for the bank accounts and the relationship with relevant financial institutions.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting.
- Lead on the production of statutory accounts in alignment with the charities SOPR.
- Lead the annual budget process and production of monthly and annual budget forecasts.
- Maintain the financial system and ensure financial controls are appropriate.
- Oversee the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Cost centre analysis.
- KPI reporting.
- Quarterly VAT reporting.
- Monthly balance sheet reviews.
- Liaise with outsourced payroll provider and review monthly payroll reports.
- Keep up to date with any relevant legislation regarding tax, auto-enrolment, NIC etc.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Experience managing staff.
- Experience working in a similar organisation is desirable.
