Finance Manager

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an international, well-established manufacturing business in Chorley. This client has a brilliant reputation on the market and they are looking to recruit a Finance Manager from a manufacturing background to join them due to internal movement.

This role will involve the management/financial accounts as well as the financial reporting around a number of legal entities.

Main Duties but not limited to:

• Produce the Monthly Management Accounts pack for multiple legal entities to Group.
• Deliver a comprehensive and professional service to all stakeholders.
• Ensure the financial controls are in place to protect the integrity of the financial statements
• Produce budget/forecasts and analysis around materials and inventory.
• Prepare Financial Accounts in line with Group accounting policies and timelines

Requirements:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant or Finalist
• Experience in working within a Manufacturing business is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to be able to effectively partner with other areas of the business
• Excellent analytical skills
• Hardworking attitude and proactive approach to improve processes
• Advanced Excel skills

This would be a great opportunity for a finalist/qualified Accountant to develop and grow within the next stage of their career whilst getting the support and leadership from Group under the direction of a qualified Finance Director. The ideal candidate would be pro-active, confident and able to show initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
