Job description
I am currently exclusively partnering with a well-established Services Business based in Blackburn as they seek a Transactional Finance Manager to join their high performing team.
The business continues to expand and is going through a great period of change in the next 12 months, therefore this is an ideal role for a high calibre Finance Manager looking for a new challenge in a progressive role.
Your main duties will include direct responsibility for the transactional teams, maintaining a robust control environment, ensuring controls are operated, identifying opportunities to improve and develop existing processes and system development.
Other responsibilities include:
To oversee the smooth running and reconciliation of all Financial Ledgers for the Group.
Management and development of a team of 10 within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Developing and enhancing existing processes, controls and system use.
Liaising with multiple areas of the business and the SLT to ensure company accounts reflect the activity of the business.
Preparation of monthly and weekly cashflow forecasts and
Group reporting and monthly aged debtors reporting to the SLT.
Work with the business to help aid and improve understanding of the Company’s financial performance
Cash flow forecast and management of the input into forecast/budget
Liaise with external auditors and advisors to provide supporting information as required
Candidates must be able to demonstrate having held a similar position and have strong all-round experience of transactional finance. In addition, experience assessing and implementing controls end to end is essential.
