Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an excellent AIM listed business near Wigan to appoint a new Financial Accountant.
This is an excellent varied opportunity for an ACA/ACCA first time mover to step into a high level role within an established business, with the opportunity to drive change and make the role their own. This individual will gain exceptional exposure and shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Financial Controller.

- Overseeing the UK controls, including the annual completion of the Financial Control Framework
- Providing support to international hubs and sharing best practice to ensure robust controls across the group
- Responsible for VAT compliance processes and return preparation, covering UK and International VAT
- Responsible for completion of the entity year end statutory accounts
- Leading the annual corporation tax compliance work and preparing the tax submissions to group
- Identify process improvement opportunities in the UK company
- Supporting period end reporting processes as necessary
- Ad hoc projects including improving controls, processes, implementation and potential acquisitions
