Financial Accountant | South Leeds | Hybrid £40,000 - £50,000 plus bonus | Global Manufacturing company
Axon Moore are working with a market leading global manufacturing business who are searching for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a newly created role.
As a Financial Accountant, you will be expected to support the team in managing the financial accounts, financial control and reporting, overseeing the Treasury, expenses and outsourced AP Function.
You will need be a confident communicator and have experience of maintaining strong and robust financial controls and processes

As a Financial Accountant, you will be expected to support the team in managing the financial accounts, financial control and reporting, overseeing the Treasury, expenses and outsourced AP Function.

Key duties:
- Month-end ledger close for bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger for all companies
- Cash forecasting
- Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for all companies.
- Assist with year-end, audits and the budget process
- Improve current reporting processes
- Provide support to the Finance Manager with the accurate submission of the statutory accounts
- Oversee the outsourced AP and Expenses function
- Monitor and review foreign exchange rates and exposure
- Analysis and commentary on cash flow variances
- PO, GR and IR investigation and reconciliation
- Preparation of financial reports on a timely basis, providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances when required
Person specification:
- ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified
- Possess strong numeracy and analytical skills, supported by excellent technical skills.
- Strong excel skills
- Technically strong and able to work to deadlines
Salary and benefits:
